JASA was founded in 1984, as Pannekeet Machinetechniek. Originally, we were primarily involved in the maintenance of processing and packaging machinery for the vegetables industry. After several successful years as a service and overhaul company, and then as a supplier of weighing and packaging machinery, PMT itself began developing equipment for a range of applications. By combining insights gained in practice, the first JASA vertical form, fill and seal machine was produced. The JASA proved so successful that the manufacture and further development of this machinery has now become our principal activity. Over the years, the JASA has proven itself in the meat, fish, snacks and other food and non-food industries, as well as the vegetables sector.

PMT is internationally active in the weighing and packaging industry. Both our own workforce and our network of agents continue to grow. Our speciality is the customized design and construction of vertical form, fill and seal machinery. Under the name JASA Packaging Systems, we supply both individual machines and complete turnkey projects in conjunction with national and international partners. JASA packaging systems

Through the years Pannekeet Machinetechniek turned into a complete different company than it was just after it's founding more than twenty years ago. What began as a service an overhaul company has grown into a worldwide producer and supplier of weighing and packaging systems.To bring the focus on weighing and packaging more to the attention, we decided to incorporate this also in our company name.

Internationally PMT was already known as JASA (a name coming from one of our success­ful machines). From now on you will find us worldwide under the name of JASA packaging systems.

Many machine producers only emphasize the success of individual machine performance. At JASA packaging systems there is a focus on the efficiency of the complete packaging process. This means that he machines as well as the complete packaging process have to be in absolute perfect condition. This demands high standards in development and after sales.

Founder and owner of JASA packaging systems, Piet Pannekeet tells: "When I started the company over twenty years ago it was of major importance that al my customers received the best possible attention. As a new and starting company you have to be there for them day and night. Many times you see that when the organisations grow, they have difficulties maintaining this. JASA has grown to a company with more than seventy employees.
